Hey everyone! I'd just like to start out by saying that the recipe club is awesome! Big thanks to NIKKI for getting the ball rolling and hosting the first official recipe night at her house! She did an amazing job! It was so fun and has been getting funner and funner! I think we'd all agree that we can't wait to go home and share our recipes with our husbands or families! There have been some good themes! I love how different everyone thinks for the different themes! We have lots of variety!
So now we just need to get everyone writing on our blog! yay! We'd like to hear new ideas or just updates with everyone and invite friends and family to read it! Maybe it will show them how much fun we have and inspire them to join :) Thanks to STEPH for taking the time to set this up, it's so cute and fits the personality of the club perfectly! I can't wait until next months night! mexican!

The first Official Recipe club blog post!

Hey Everyone, I decided it would be good if we had a blog for our recipe club! This way, we can get on and check themes, dates and whatever else may get put on here! Except, no recipes, you have to come the the club for that! Anyway... The first meeting was in february at Nikki's house and she had a Valetine day theme, all pink food with little hearts! I wasn't able to make it to this meeting so I don't know what recipes were there, but I've heard the night was a lot of fun. The next month was at Misty's house and her theme was "Favorite Family Recipes." There was lots good food and great recipes like Italian Tortellini Soup, Mac n' Cheese Skillet, Cookie Salad, a delicious trifle recipe, and Chicken Pasta Salad! Everything was very good! And Finally, this month. We all met at Alicia, Kerry, and Kerron's house! They chose the theme "Breakfast," and we had lots of good breakfast recipes! Cheese Blintzes, Blueberry Muffins, a Breakfast Casserole, Breakfast Pizza, Coffee Cake, and French Breakfast puffs. And, yes, it was all delicious! Anyway, that's all for now. I'm going to try to put some pictures and stuff up so check back! Next month, we're meeting at my (Stephanie's) house, and since the meeting will be on May 4 we'll be cooking up some delicious mexican food just in time for Cinco De Mayo which is our next theme!
